拍品内外以五彩为饰，盘心绘指日高升图，空中红日高升，一人身着官服，手指天空，仆从随侍一旁，有升迁顺遂之寓意。外壁饰渊明爱菊、浩然爱梅、茂叔爱莲等场景。笔触简朴生动，釉下青花发色浓丽，釉上红、绿、黄彩颜色鲜艳。陈玉阶（1922-2012），江苏扬州人，曾于上海晋古斋学徒，师从同乡朱赫亭，与仇炎之为同门。1950年代初定居香港，经营古董行业，以敬业、诚信、人品而备受称道。 香港拍卖会，2013年4月5日，编号0589 陈玉阶旧藏
