清中期 大型黑白玉巧雕瑞獸"多子多福"擺件 Qing Dynasty period. Finely carved in openwork in the form of two large black jade carved recumbent mythical beasts as parents looking at their three white jade carved cubs grasping ribbons in mouth, the beasts deftly carved with bulging eyes above flaring nostrils and broad snout, the body further worked with knobbly spine with mane detailed with incised lines. 此件黑白玉巧雕多子多福為清代罕見玉雕珍品，工匠從挑選過程開始已一絲不苟，一塊籽料能兼具如此黑白分明的對比原色，實屬稀有。雕刻過程匠心獨到，雕琢不留痕跡，混然天成。瑞獸神態各異，栩栩如生，三頭少獅在兩頭太師身前嬉戲，其樂融融，生動傳神，寓意多子多福，事事順利。黑白在中國傳統文化中分別代表陰和陽，飾品渾圓一體，亦融合了道家陰陽調和的思想。 來源：南加州聖地亞哥女士提供，其家族早年購於香港
