清中期 白玉饕餮紋三足蓋爐 Qing Dynasty period. The shallow rounded sides carved with a taotie band above a stylized phoenix band, the sides further flanked by a pair of wide handles, the domed cover smoothly polished, topped with a coiled dragon as knop, supported by three cabriole legs, the stone of even white tone. 此玉爐通身以和闐白玉雕琢而成，純凈外表如凝脂般瑩潔通透，泛著美玉特有的柔潤光澤。質地瑩潤，如脂若冰，工藝精湛。短頸，口略外撇，厚薄勻稱，中規中矩。掏膛薄而光潔，宛若鑄模打造，拋光極好，各方銜接得體，渾若天成，平整細致，光滑如鏡的打磨技藝盡顯美玉天姿，展示出技藝的高超精湛。爐蓋作覆碗式，上雕盤龍鈕，爐身直口、短束頸，雙耳上翹，圓腹下收，下承三獸足。外壁前後飾有淺浮雕對稱“饕餮紋”，“鳳鳥紋”，紋飾構思巧妙，動感十足，刀工細膩流暢，具有典型乾隆期仿古玉器的意蘊，實為精彩。
