A Victorian Garnet and Chrysoberyl Brooch, three oval cut garnets and six oval cut chrysoberyl in yellow claw settings, to a ribbon bow cartouche frame with festoon brazilian linked chains and two further drops with urn shaped terminations, length 7.6cm, with fitted case see illustration . The brooch is in fair condition. It fastens with a pin and hook catch and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 15.29 grams.
