A Victorian Parcel-Gilt Silver Goblet, by Stephen Smith, 1876, the bowl tapering and on spreading beaded foot with knopped stem, the bowl engraved with foliage on a gilded ground, and with matting between, engraved with initials, in fitted case, the goblet 5oz 5dwt, 164gr. Marked near rim. There is some wear to the marks, though they are still legible. There is some overall surface scrathing and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the gilding. The case is labeled 'Stephen Smith & Son, 35 King St Covent Garden'. There are some scuffs to the case.
