佛像自古即为至宝，宋代释志磐《佛祖统纪》卷三十六记载“义熙二年，师子国献白玉佛像，高四尺二寸。”元代程钜夫《雪楼集》卷八载畏兀儿贵族大乘都入京朝见，元世祖“亲赐侍宴衣冠，貂裘帽、金带、银器、白玉佛像、银钞等前後相望，恩顾良勤。”清人俞樾《春在堂诗编》有《玉佛歌》一首，诗云：“何幸一朝得此像，洵足奇迹增钱唐。曲园居士瞻礼讫，敬作长歌当短偈。与其摩挲金铜仙，不如賛叹白玉佛。”此玉质温润、佛跏趺端坐姿，高髻螺发，大耳垂肩，神态安祥，如入禅境。来源：国营文物商店旧藏
