题识：宪义同志指正，丙辰春节黄胄写。|钤印：黄胄写意（朱文）|说明：此画来自纽约时报前执行总编、普利策奖评委会主席席默尔·托平先生及其夫人文学作家、报导纪录片编辑兼自由摄影师奥黛丽·朗宁·托平女士珍藏。席默尔先生上世纪中期在政权更替的中国担任美国联合通讯社（Associated Press)记者。奥黛丽女士则在南京大学深造，随后从事摄影纪实工作。他们报导了淮海战役、新中国的建立、秦兵马俑的发掘等重要新闻。在中国工作期间，托平伉俪亦结识了许多著名画家，并获赠书画。此幅拍品即获赠于画家本人，被托平夫妇珍藏至今。
