台灣收藏家舊藏 爐銅質，造型作鼓、缸一類，平口鼓腹，外壁裝飾交叉纏繞之圓環，平底。一側童子環抱爐體，髮束總角狀，約八、九歲年紀，頭部因常摩娑而有包漿，隱隱作光。 銅爐被譽為明代文玩之首，一開始是作為祭祀的禮器和文人香道用具躍上歷史舞台。而作為一種焚香道具，銅爐更是與花瓶、燭台一齊供養於佛前，為比丘十八物之一。除造型古雅之典型銅爐，亦有此類小型香爐，單供個人使用，既能聞香又可暖手，隨身把玩。
