The ink rest carved from Zitan wood, inset with jade plaque carved on the surface with plants and stones, the jade is of greyish-white color tone with translucency.|Qing Dynasty period.||Length: 3 1/2 in (8.9 cm) Width: 2 in (5.1 cm)|清玉雕墨床|紫檀墨床，下起四足，上方有玉板，玉板扁平，雕琢蘭石作裝飾。一般所見玉板多鑲嵌於墨床之上。此器以珍貴紫檀為材，製作精細，又與玉石相配，色澤對比強烈，別有逸趣，具有宮廷氣息。
