Dimensions: 20-1/2" H x 10-14" Dia. Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, double groud vase. The Chinese porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a tall cylindrical neck, with a straight opening lip, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slighty concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in cobalt blue underglazed, depicted of various flowers blooms, interspersed foliage and ripe fruits, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior.
