炉盘口，直颈，溜肩，鼓腹，下承三足。带有银盖。釉色清纯温柔，造型周正雅致，敦实古朴，可称佳品。龙泉窑以其釉色而受到推崇，以诱人的天青为最，由于制作烧造难度大，成器不易，精品更稀，贵为单色釉中之鼎。由于宋代皇帝的喜爱而日益受重，“千峰翠色”、“雨过天晴云破处”，都是赞美其釉色的誉美之词，然都不为过。自古就流传为登峰造极之作。
