A good mid-18th century figured mahogany veneered chest on chest, with blind fretwork canted corners, rococo style gilded handles and ogee feet, 119cm wide x 55cm deep x 134cm high Condition report: Both sides badly split on both sections, top right-hand drawer with 2cm x 10.5cm patch. Gilding rubbed on handles. Base section - lacking small sections of upper edge of moulding on right return. Top - 22cm hairline crack on the right side in the middle. Stiles and rails with minor damage, including chip on middle rail on the base. Minor restorations, including bottom right corner and top left corner of the top drawer in the base. Overall good colour and figuring and the front in pretty good condition considering its age and use.
