A GEORGE III SILVER CADDY, probably by Abraham Portal, London 1761, of bombe form, chased with foliate swags, scrolls and leaves, raised on pierced scroll feet. 12cm high, 9cm wide, 6.5cm deep, 5.8 troy ounces The absence of a Condition Report does not imply that a lot is without imperfections. Please note carefully the exclusion of liability for the condition of lots contained in the Conditions of Sale. Lid struck with lion passant and maker's mark. The base with a full set of clear marks. Lid fits ok. Stands firm and does not rock. Dent to one corner at the shoulder. A few small dents and general wear commensurate with age. In generally good condition.
