A GROUP OF THREE SILVER-MOUNTED GLASS SCENT BOTTLES, the first by Mappin & Webb Ltd, London 1922, with tortoiseshell inset top; the second by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1906, the body cut with a hobnail pattern; the third with indistinct maker's mark, Birmingham 1906, the body cut with stars. Marks to first lightly rubbed, clearer maker's mark on collar underneath lid; marks to the second also lightly rubbed, lion passant and date letter on inside of gilded lid; marks to third heavily rubbed, lion passant and date letter to inside of lid. Small chips to cut glass of second and third bottles. All three with glass stoppers. Several dents/dings to lids of second and third bottles, silver has also rubbed through on repousse work on both. Light surface scratches to all commensurate with age and use
