A 19TH CENTURY IRISH BOG OAK AND MALACHITE BROOCH, a central harp within a carved bog oak frame with a lurcher, shamrock and foliate, set with leaves and two pear malachite. Measures 6.5cm by 5.7cm The absence of a Condition Report does not imply that a lot is without imperfections. Please note carefully the exclusion of liability for the condition of lots contained in the Conditions of Sale. The bog oak frame is broken in two from the top of the harp, the back has traces of glue residue indicating an old repair, the pin does not fit within a c-hook. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gilt metal. Condition report made 010321.
