博古架是类似书架式的木器。中分不同样式的许多层小格，格内陈设各种古玩、器皿，故又名为“十锦槅子”、“集锦槅子”或“多宝槅子”。此件博古架通体由紫檀制成。其色泽紫亮光洁，木质细腻坚硬。整器通体为格，大小宝格错落有致，藏宝、展宝皆可。格内可陈放吉金、陶瓷、或山子等文房雅器之属。适陈设于书房、客堂，为室内增长文雅清新的情形和气氛。架格沿边安装回字形牙板，增添了装饰性与实用性。整器零而不散，线条精致简练，造型简洁秀气，有一种大宝小藏的内敛气质。
