A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A LADY READING A LETTER WITH A GREY MUFF, LATE 19TH CENTURY, wearing a pierced head dress with a pink shawl and floral dress, on a scroll moulded base, incised mark D 66, blue crossed swords mark, 21cm high Provenance: Property from a private collection of a distinguished American lady, Eaton Square, London. Condition report: When observed under UV light this figure showed no signs of white flourescence, surfaces were purple. There are losses to the white lace work around the shoulders and head. Heavy domestic dust to various pockets of thhe figure.
