*Laurence Poole (b.1963), 2016, a speedometer assemblage sculpture, an assemblage of 22 vintage speedometers and gauges from cars and motorcycles, wall-hanging, the frame features back lighting and many of the gauges also feature lighting, the gauges are mounted on a steel frame, signed by the artist, 66cm wide 10cm deep Laurence Poole, sculptor (b.1963) Laurence was born in South London in 1963. Having studied at Croydon College of Art, Chelsea College of Art & Design, the University of Brighton and the California Sculpture Academy, he now lives in Hastings on the south coast of England, with a studio in nearby St Leonards-on-Sea. Laurence's area of interest is the recycling and re-purposing of found objects.
