A 19th Century German low-grade white metal and parcel-gilt set of beaded flatware by Sy & Wagner of Berlin, stamped '750', comprising twelve each dessert spoons and forks, in fitted leather-bound and velvet-lined canteen with a part set of similar knives with loaded handles stamped '12'; lot also includes six matching ungilded dessert spoons from the same maker, also stamped '750', 35oz (1107g) total weighable silver (spoons and forks only). Note: before standardisation in 1888, German silver, measured in lothige, was produced to several different standards, the lowest being 12 lothige, or 750.
