碗直口微撇，深弧腹，小圈足，碗心内微凹呈尖底状。此碗通体青花装饰，纹饰繁复，画工粗犷，潇洒大气，具有时代特征。造型美观大方，纹饰疏朗明快，胎质洁白细腻，碗心饰缠枝花卉纹，外壁器身绘莲瓣纹，将莲瓣纹绘于鸡心碗上，既符合碗的形式变化，又使饰纹本身增添了神采。因形似鸡心故得名“鸡心碗”。鸡心碗为明永乐时期创新之作。
