A George III black Japanned 'Act of Parliament' clock case, late 18th century, the case with 30inch painted circular Roman numeral dial, inscribed John Vincent Baxter, Bristol, now with a later replacement wall timepiece movement, 152cm high overall Provenance: Berwick House, Shropshire Condition Report: Dial repainted, movement replaced with an early 20th movement for a wall timepiece, old chips and cracks to the case.
