London & Calcutta, late 19th century, the eight-train three-train fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking the hour on a coiled gong and chiming the quarters on concentric bells, inscribed Lattey Brothers & Co. London to the backplate, the shaped and silvered dial with Roman numerals and inscribed Lattey Brothers London & Calcutta 5024, 62cm high Provenance: Berwick House, Shropshire Condition Report: Tired, presumed not running, will need a good overhaul. Pendulum and small door key but no winding key. Case shows signs of age and wear. Tired country house condition.
