An oak side or credence table, mid 17th century and later, 74cm high, 94cm wide, 47cm deep Provenance: Property from The Manor House, Stanford in the Vale Condition Report: Marks, scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips, some old repairs, some old losses. The top may be associated. There is evidence to the rear edge of the top that hinges were positioned there and probably supported a second upper section of the top. There is also evidence that a rear 'swing' leg was previously present, to support the hinged upper leaf when opened. The rear stretcher of the legs and the frieze are likely later replacements. Some other possible adaptions. Please refer to the images for visual reference to condition. Condition Report Disclaimer
