A Continental carved giltwood wall mirror, mid 18th century, 55cm high, 31cm wide overall Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Mirror plate with some small grey spots. Gilding refreshed but retains antique appearance. Gilt surface with cracking, rubbing and some losses. Extremities of the carving with some knocks, scuffs and losses. Including to the faces of the female figures. Old repair made to mask element at bottom of mirror with a small block of replacement timber applied to the lower tip of the back of the mirror. Some old repairs to carved elements.
