Y A suite of three mid Victorian stained mother of pearl brooches, circa 1870, the circular grey stained mother of pearl panels within gold beaded surrounds, closed gold backs, slightly graduated in size, two measure 1.7cm wide, the smaller 1.6cm wide, 12.8g gross, in a fitted Mallett, Goldsmith, Bath leather case; together with an 1820s seed pearl and mother of pearl cross pendant, the pierced cross panel set with seed pearls, with removeable suspensory loop and brooch fitting, 5.8cm long, 7g gross Condition Report: Two of the brooches have had the pins secured in place by later pins, there are light scratches to the mother of pearl, one mother of pearl panel is slightly pushed into the setting on one side, some general wear commensurate with age and use, unmarked.
