A mid Victorian and later half cultured pearl bracelet, the central panel set with half cultured pearls, with textured lion paw shoulders, to foliate engraved articulated links, with an oval glazed compartment verso containing a plait of brown hair, 16cm long, 11.7g gross Condition Report: The main body of the bracelet is circa 1860. The cultured pearls are replacements, there are a few patched repairs to the links, but only noticeable under close inspection. The pins attaching the bracelets to the central panels have been replaced, and one of the curved pelmets at the base of one of the paws is missing. The gold in our opinion is 15 carat or higher.
