First half 17th century The rectangular panel finely decorated with a pheasant gently perching on a broken cane of bamboo, surrounded by multi-coloured bamboo leaves and flowering camellias, all reserved on a bright turquoise ground interspersed with gilt ruyi clouds and within a dense leafy floral border on a dark-blue ground, wood frame. 31cm (12 1/4in) wide.
