A rare Chinese Junyao quatrilobe cup stand, Song dynasty, the holder moulded with convex sides supported on a quadrilobed saucer with a slightly upturned rim, covered in a thick pale lavender-blue glaze thinning to a buff tone at the rims and falling slightly short of the foot, 9cm diameter, with Japanese wood box and cloth pouch c.f.
