|盒圆型，通体雕朱漆，子母口分盖与器，盖面中央牡丹盛放，盖面四周及器壁花苞娇羞，枝叶舒展，上下两面纹饰相同，盒内髹黑漆。|此盒雕工精湛，造型华美兼具浑厚，中央层层花瓣，瓣缘如波涛翻滚，其内细线流畅如丝，使得花朵美艳绝伦，四周枝展舒展如云，与中央一密一疏，互为映衬，造型功力实不可觑。又雕工内敛，不见锋芒，漆色沈穆，包浆光泽莹润，是明早期剔红之佳作。
