A Chinese jade belt buckle, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), each half carved to one side in openwork with a clambering chilong grasping in its mouth a curling lingzhi stem, one half of the buckle terminating in a dragon-head hook, the other with an oval aperture, the underside of each with a raised circular panel, 9cm long, and a jade belt hook, Qing dynasty, embellished with a cabochon ruby to the hook and a lapis lazuli to the centre, with a raised circular panel on the underside, 4.6cm long (3) 清 白玉浮雕螭龙衔灵芝纹带扣 及 玉嵌红宝石青金石带钩 Condition report: Belt buckle - minute chips to edges. Belt hook - ruby with a multitude of surface reaching inclusions with very poor clarity. Surface scratches, cracks and general wear consistent with age.
