Elaborate, partly openwork carved wooden corpus. Original poliment gilding on orange-coloured chalk, punched in places. On four slightly s-shaped, curved legs with detailed carving, the three-sided, finely carved, partly openworked and slightly cambered frame with a central carved cartouche. The renewed straps with upholstery on top. Finely carved armrests rising at the sides, also elegantly curved with volute-like handles. Adjoining straight backrest. Covered in fine, reddish silk damask. Total height 114 cm. Seat height approx. 50 cm.Condition: II -Condition Report: In good condition, commensurate with their age. Showing traces of age and use. Partially restored. Traces of worming, not active. The cover rubbed in places. The webbing, upholstery and fabric cover renewed. The gilding scuffed and with minimal rubbing in places. Beautiful, original patina.
