A Caucasian silver-mounted kinzal, set with diamonds, circa 1900 The double-edged blade of diamond section with a reinforced root. The nielloed grip mounts edged in silver, with riveted horn grip scales, two decorative rivets on the front, 15 rose-cut diamonds set around the lower rivet. Wooden scabbard covered in shagreen leather with floral, en suite chased, nielloed silver fittings on the front, seven rose-cut diamonds set into the locket. The leather cover on the back with a repair of later date. Length 50 cm.Condition: II
