Helena Markson (1934-2012), English graphic artist from London, studied at the Salisbury School of Art and the Central School of Art. In 1970 she moved to Israel, where she co-founded the Art Institute of the Univ. of Haifa. In the 1960s she created a series of Liverpool views, from which this etching is taken.
