Elisabeth Büchsel (1867-1957), German painter and watercolorist from Stralsund, lived in Berlin, Dresden, Paris and Munich, lived and worked on Hiddensee. Southern coastal scene, inscribed ''Duvronik'' (sic!), possibly created when she made a detour to Crotaia during her trip to Italy in 1907.
