A late 19th / early 20th century emerald and diamond five stone ring, composed of a graduated line of alternate cut-cornered rectangular or square emeralds and old-brilliant-cut diamonds with rose-cut diamond points, to carved gallery and shoulders, c. 1900, ring size R Wear commensurate with age with surface scratching and nicking to hoop and mount, wear to claw tips. Hoop stamped 18. Emeralds are bright, a number of typical inclusions, some surface breaking, one side stone stone with a chip across corner, otherwise tiny chips and rubbing to facet edges. Diamonds, each spreads a little over 0.10 carats but well under 0.20 carats, clarity approx. I1 - I2, difficult to gauge colour due to mounting.
