書畫 任薰（1835-1893），字舜琴，又字阜長，其父任椿，兄任熊都是畫家。少喪父，從兄學畫，青年時在寧波賣畫為生。任頤、任預均從其習畫，人物與其兄同師陳洪綬，常用高古遊絲、鐵線、行雲流水、蘭葉幾種描法。任薰治學嚴謹，在寫生、臨摹上均下了苦功夫。兼工人物、花鳥、山水、肖像、仕女，畫法博采眾長，面貌多樣，富有新意。 與顧文彬子顧承相友善，曾為設計怡園。與任熊、任頤時稱“三任”，合任預為“四任”，並為海上畫派代表畫家之一。
