带板为和阗白玉质，器呈方形，中部作一菱形开光，纹饰皆为双层镂雕而成。开光内饰有一只健步的飞廉神兽，鬃毛飘洒，双翼展开，身躯健硕，尾巴卷翘。周围装饰繁密的花草纹及卷云纹。飞廉，亦作蜚廉，是中国神话中的神兽，掌管风，被称为风神，是秦人的先祖之一。此带板为典型的明代器物，可佩亦可镶嵌。
