A mid 18th century Irish silver bowl, maker's mark SW, possibly Stephen Walsh, with a slightly everted rim engraved with a coronet above a crest within a foliate and C-scroll asymmetric reserve, on a circular moulded spreading foot, 18cm (7in) diameter, 496g (15.95 oz) The crest and coronet for NUGENT, earls of Westmeath.
