Ltd., London 1900, chased with the Royal coat of arms for the United Kingdom, two crowned lion masks, engraved 'Egypt 1882, Tel-el-Kebir, Dettingen, Waterloo, Peninsula, Presented by the Marquis of Waterford August 1899', on four lion paw feet to a shaped oval base, 13cm (5in) long, 407g (13.1 oz) Possibly a salt cellar presented to the 1st Regiment of Life Guards.
