On the back, old inscription and label with attribution to Carlo Dolci. Provenance: - Private collection, Geneva. From a private collection in Geneva, this painting representing a beautiful young woman with flowers, came to Spain with an old attribution to the Florentine painter Carlo Dolci. The half-length figure, the chiaroscuro and, above all, the morbid sensuality that can be appreciated in this work, in which the young model uncovers one of her breasts, allows us to relate it to the production of some Florentine painters of the late Baroque, such as Simone Pignoni and Onofrio Marinari; whose works, in addition to the formal debt with Dolci, are impregnated with a certain erotic tone inherited from Francesco Furini. . Oil on canvas. 69 x 54 cm.
