带座高21cm；长21cm；屏心长17.2cm；宽12.5cm
翡翠插屏颜色翠绿娇嫩，呈丝絮状不均匀分布，另有翡色间杂，色泽明艳动人。“羲之爱鹅”为古代“四爱”典故之一。王羲之喜爱养鹅，世人曾以白鹅换取其书《黄庭经》（即《道德经》）。《晋书•王羲之传》载：“山阴有一道士，养好鹅，羲之往观焉，意甚悦，固求市之。道士云：为写《道德经》，当举群相赠耳。羲之欣然写毕，笼鹅而归，甚以为乐。”故李白有诗《送贺宾客归越》亦云：“镜湖流水漾清波，狂客归舟逸兴多，山阴道士如相见，应写黄庭换白鹅。”拍品原配紫檀底座。
