印文：博士祭酒。 此玉印白玉质，尺寸较一般覆斗印略大，予人端方雍容之感。印面阴刻“博士祭酒”四字，笔划劲健深刻，揖让从容。玉质老熟呈果冻状，灯下观之，玉印内部如岚烟瀰漫，令人赏心悦目。博士祭酒为官名，秦、西汉时称为博士仆射，位居众博士之首。东汉时改为此称．隶属太常，秩比六百石。曹魏时置大学博士祭酒，以十九名博士中才智威重者充任。为国子学之长官，秩第五品。晋以后多称国子祭酒。
