英雄瓶也称双联瓶，在战国时期为铜质，至宋、元、明年间发展到以更多样化的材质进行制作，例如竹、瓷、玉等。至清朝，仿古之风盛行。其中，尤以乾隆的影响为最。此瓶周身满饰掐丝缠枝莲纹，双瓶连接处巧饰以雄鹰及似“熊”的造型，雄鹰立于“熊”首之上，展翅欲飞，器宇轩昂。整器不仅铜质精纯，鎏金灿然，给人雍容华贵之感，具有浓厚的宫廷气息。
