A GOTHIC REVIVAL FOLIO STAND THE DESIGN ATTRIBUTED TO VIOLLET-LE-DUC. A 19th century oak folio stand the ends decorated with an armorial of fleur de lys halved with hanging sheaves, with a velvet covered folio with pierced metal strap mounts. Believed to be from the Chateau at Amboise in the Loire, a commission with which Viollet Le Duc was closely associated. The stand 72.5cm high, 68cm wide.
