The dress is made of a woven fabric, mostly black with orange and red stripes and purple, black and green panels. On each side at the bottom half are three panels of satin fabric, purple on the sides and green in the middle, decorated with Bethlehem embroidery. The sleeves widen gradually and have three panels of satin fabric, purple on the sides and orange in the centre. The chest is decorated with a panel embroidered densely with Bethlehem embroidery, cut with a V-shaped collar. The Palestinian dresses can be identified by area of making by the changing embroidery designs typical to each area. The borders of the chest panel are embroidered with flowers with triangular petals, which are presumably typical of the Bayt Jala area near Bethlehem. The fabric has many rips and requires considerable restoration. Length: 140 cm Width at the shoulders: 45 cm Width at the bottom: 100 cm
