A late 18th century Iberian diamond and emerald brooch, circa 1790, the pierced floral panel set with lasque cut diamonds and mixed cut emeralds, suspending a similarly set navette shaped drop, later brooch fitting, 4cm wide, 6.5g gross, in a S. J. Phillips Ltd box Condition Report: The thin slivers of rose cut diamonds are all present and correct, the foiling behind has perished with age, the emeralds are bright and lively, nibbling to the facet edges, a few nicks, some typical inclusions, the drop has been resoldered to the main section, the section has come from a larger piece, the brooch fitting has been later soldered to the back of the panel.
