A late Victorian paste monkey brooch, circa 1900, the first monkey pavé set with circular cut white pastes, with green paste eyes, with unidentified mark verso, sitting on a gold coloured bar with simulated pearl terminals, suspending a further pavé set monkey from a belcher link chain, 6.5cm long, 9.3g gross Condition Report: The brooch has some light wear commensurate with age and use, the pastes have some small nibbles to the crowns, the mark to the reverse looks like the mask of a gazelle.
