晏济元(1901-2011)，四川内江人氏，曾居重庆。名平，别号素贞老人、老济、济公、江洲散人、世纪老人。他曾与于右任、谢无量、何香凝、郭沫若、张大千、张善子等交情深厚，并在当时画坛享有很高的声誉。朱德观其画後称“海外有个张大千，国内有个晏济元”。曾为中国美术家协会会员、重庆国画院名誉院长，曾任重庆美术家协会副主席、重庆国画院副院长等职。
