The present work was part of a series of paintings completed in conjunction with West of Camelot: The Historical Paintings of Kenneth Riley, a major retrospective at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art from July 18 to September 12, 1993 and a monograph published by Settlers West Galleries in 1993. A leather-bound collector's edition of West of Camelot: The Historical Paintings of Kenneth Riley, accompanies the lot. The book is copy number 30 of an edition of 100 signed copies.
