Y A George IV tortoiseshell veneered and ivory banded tea caddy, circa 1830, of shaped rectangular section, with serpentine front, on coquilla nut feet; the hinged cover opening to an ivory banded interior, 13cm high, 15cm wide, 10cm deep Condition Report: Minor marks, knocks, and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. Some small chips and losses to the veneer overall, particularly surrounding the base and corners to cover, as well as by the rear hinges.
